Network care plans
Ongoing maintenance for your network after installation: monitoring, firmware updates, configuration backups and lifecycle planning, for a flat monthly fee.
Focused on your network
Care plans cover your firewall, switches, WiFi and the infrastructure they rely on, maintained by the engineer who knows your network.
What’s included
Monitoring and alerts
Your network is monitored for outages and device failures, and alerts are reviewed the same or next business day.
Firmware and security updates
Firmware and security updates for firewalls, switches and access points are evaluated, scheduled and applied safely outside business hours.
Configuration backups and documentation
Configurations are backed up and network documentation is kept current, so failed equipment can be replaced and restored quickly.
Lifecycle and renewal tracking
Warranties, licenses, support contracts and end-of-life dates are tracked, with advance notice before anything lapses.
Network consultations
Consultations are included before changes that affect the network, such as new equipment, security cameras, office reconfigurations or a new internet contract. Resulting work is quoted separately.
Annual network review
A yearly review of the network’s health, with recommendations and a budget forecast for upcoming upgrades.
Eligibility
Care plans are available for networks we have deployed and for networks that pass our onboarding assessment.
The assessment documents the existing network, reviews firmware and security settings, and identifies any issues to be resolved before coverage begins.
Scope of coverage
Care plans cover network infrastructure. Computers, user accounts, email and software remain with your IT provider or internal team.
Larger changes, such as new equipment, additional floors or relocations, are quoted as separate projects.
Frequently asked questions
How much does a care plan cost?
A flat monthly fee based on the number of sites and devices. Pricing is provided with your project quote or after the onboarding assessment.
What happens if equipment fails?
Alerts are reviewed the same or next business day. Replacement equipment is quoted, and the configuration is restored from backup.
How is this different from managed IT services?
Managed IT covers computers, users and software. A care plan covers network infrastructure and works alongside your existing IT provider.
