This policy explains what information Secure IT Services LLC (“we”, “us”) collects through secure-it-services.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have. We are a network engineering company based in Clifton, New Jersey, and we collect only the information needed to operate our business.

- We collect what you choose to send us, basic server logs and, if analytics is enabled, information about how visitors use the site.
- We may use analytics and live chat tools from Google and Zoho, which use cookies.
- We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not use it for targeted advertising.

What we collect
Information you send us
When you fill in the quote form, we receive what you enter: your name, company, email, phone number, the site address or town, and the project details you give us (square footage, number of people, dates, current equipment, internet provider and notes). We also receive anything you send us by email, phone or text.
If you book a call, the booking page is run by Microsoft (Microsoft Bookings). Microsoft handles that information under its own privacy policy, and we receive the details you enter there.
Information collected automatically
- Server logs. Like almost every website, our hosting provider records basic technical information for each visit: IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time. These logs are used for security and troubleshooting.
- Spam protection. To stop automated spam, the quote form keeps a scrambled (one-way hashed) version of your IP address for up to one hour. It cannot be turned back into your IP address.
- Analytics. We may use Google Analytics and Google Search Console, through Google Site Kit, to understand how visitors find and use the site: pages visited, approximate location, device, browser and the site that referred them. Google processes this information under its own privacy policy. You can block analytics cookies in your browser or use Google’s opt-out tool at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
- Live chat. We may offer live chat through Zoho SalesIQ. If you use it, Zoho receives your messages and any contact details you provide, along with basic information about your visit.
- Cookies. Analytics and live chat tools, when enabled, set cookies in your browser. WordPress also sets cookies for our staff when they sign in to manage the site. The quote form does not use cookies.
Our fonts and images are served from our own site rather than from outside services.
How we use it
- To reply to you, plan your project and prepare a quote.
- To do the work if you hire us, and to schedule, invoice and support it.
- To keep business, tax and legal records.
- To keep the website secure and working.
We do not add you to mailing lists or send marketing emails unless you request them.
Who we share it with
We share information only with parties that need it to operate our business or deliver your project:
- Service providers: our website host; Microsoft 365 for email and scheduling; an email delivery service for messages sent by the website; Google for analytics; and Zoho for live chat and customer records. Quote requests may be stored in our customer relationship management system.
- Project partners, if you hire us: for example a licensed cabling contractor, an equipment distributor or a manufacturer for warranty registration. They get only the details they need for your project.
- Professional advisers, such as an accountant or attorney, when needed.
- Authorities, if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or someone’s safety.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use or share it for targeted advertising.
How long we keep it
We keep quote requests and emails as long as we need them to respond to you and for our business records. Client records are kept as long as tax and legal rules require. If you ask us to delete your information, we will, unless we are required to keep it.
Your choices
You can ask us to tell you what information we have about you, correct it, delete it, or stop using it. Email [email protected] and we will respond within 45 days. We may need to confirm it is you before acting on a request. We honor these requests for everyone, including the rights New Jersey residents have under New Jersey privacy law.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted access to the site’s dashboard and spam protection on our forms. No system is perfectly secure, so please do not send passwords or other sensitive credentials through the quote form or by email.
Children
This site is for businesses. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Links to other sites
Some links go to sites we do not control, such as Microsoft Bookings or Google. Their own privacy policies apply there.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle information, we will update this page and the “Last updated” date at the top.
